About Us

In 2011, the Rittenhouse Brothers began flipping houses throughout the Midwest. The majority of our flips have been in Holland, MI and the surrounding areas, but we have also flipped houses in Wisconsin and Indiana. We have a knack for turning the worst house in a neighborhood into the best. We now use the skills that made (and continue to make) us good house flippers to help our clients with all their home renovation needs.

Our Mission

To provide the highest quality customer service and satisfaction to each and every client.

Our story

Rittenhouse Brothers is a family owned and operated business. We are four (of six) brothers who grew up in Indiana and fostered an interest in real estate from a young age. We grew up helping our father renovate and restore old buildings in addition to building new structures. We all went to college and pursued other careers as we furthered our interests in real estate by buying and renovating our own homes and flipping houses on the side. Two of the brothers, Aaron and Andrew Rittenhouse, decided to make real estate their full-time jobs and founded Rittenhouse Brothers as a house flipping company in Holland, MI. Along the way, we saw a need we could fill in West Michigan for honest, hardworking contractors. So we branched out and are now a full-service renovation company. As the company grew, we needed help and the obvious answer was to add two more of our brothers, Nick and Patrick Rittenhouse, to the team. Learn more about us below.

Aaron Rittenhouse, Owner

Aaron is a graduate of Hope College with a degree in Business Management and Accounting. During his time at Hope, Aaron was chosen to be a member of the exclusive Baker Scholar program, and swam varsity for all four years. After graduating, Aaron spent several years working in logistics as an engineer and supply chain manager before answering the call to entrepreneurship.

Combining his experience renovating and restoring homes with his analytical experience to understand today’s complex and ever-changing real estate market, Aaron is uniquely positioned to help when it’s time for a home renovation project.

When Aaron’s not helping you with your next home renovation, you will most likely find him working on an investment property or woodworking project. He also enjoys spending time with his family and his wife, Ellen. They both share a passion for the outdoors and love spending time boating, hiking, biking, and swimming.

andrew rittenhouse, owner

Andrew is a graduate of Hillsdale College with a degree in Accounting and a minor in French. After college, Andrew moved to Wisconsin and began a career in accounting and finance. He started as an audit associate in a “Big 4” accounting firm, moved to a financial analyst position in a large multi-national corporation, and finally to a Controller position at an orthopedic equipment company, before founding Rittenhouse Brothers with Aaron.

Andrew still lives in Wisconsin, so you likely won’t see him in person at your next home renovation or when it’s time to buy or sell a home. However, you can rest easy knowing he is managing the company’s finances and helping to manage the business, so that his brothers can focus on the most important part of our business, our clients.

When Andrew is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, woodworking, boating, hiking, skiing, and playing or watching sports.

Nick Rittenhouse, project manager

Nick graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in finance, business management, and economics. While at school, Nick stayed busy with a number of different involvements including being a member of the swim team, treasurer of his fraternity, and working as an intern for several different organizations. All the while still finding time to work in some handy projects here and there to satisfy his building and construction minded taste buds.

After graduating, Nick started out in the retail industry as a district manager, but remained working part time with Rittenhouse Brothers in order to maintain his passion that was instilled in him at a young age. About a year and a half later, that passion turned into reality when he decided to join the company full time as a project manager. Since then, Nick has been putting his knowledge to the test on just about every trade involved in renovating and restoring some company owned houses.

Now he’s ready to take on your next project! Regardless of the size, scale, work, or troubling issue, Nick comes readily equipped with his handyman skills and problem solving know-how to get the job done and done right. Nick takes pride in his work and no matter the difficulty, always completes the job the way he would want it done on his own house.

Nick enjoys seeing a job progress from start to finish, so much so that when not on the job you’ll likely find him working on a project of his own. He also enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and wife, Allie. Together they love all things ice cream/popcorn related, exploring new places, playing games, swimming, boating, and finding some time to relax and enjoy the day.
